THERAPIST

Harrison Pereyra, LMHC

Office: Brooklyn/Telehealth | Pronouns: He/Him

Life can present itself with many hardships. Whether you’ve been in therapy before, or if it is your first time, there is no better time than now to get the extra support you need. I offer a safe and supportive space for you to explore the underlying issues of what is going on. This is a collaborative process where we can examine the behaviors and thought patterns you are experiencing and how they are affecting you.

I see a diverse population of people of all identities and presenting problems. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, feeling stuck, coping with transitions, chronic stress, low self-worth, or relational stress, we can work on these things together.

I work through primarily a psychodynamic lens, while utilizing evidence-based and trauma informed techniques from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I believe that therapy isn’t a one size fits all. Part of the process is getting to learn what works best for you and your needs. I also have an extensive background in working with substance use disorders and can help you with your goals of recovery or harm reduction. Let us journey together and grow.
